ear GEO Community, Please find attached the updated agenda of the Second GEOSS
Asia-Pacific Symposium: the role of Earth observations in tackling
climate change to be held in Tokyo, Japan, on 14-16 April 2008. Please
note that the agendas for the parallel sessions have been updated. In
particular, the fourth parallel session is now entitled "Mapping Forests
and Tracking Carbon". This revised approach reflects recent developments
in the ongoing process to revise the GEO work plan for the period 2007 -
2009. The aim is to ensure that GEO's work has the broadest possible
relevance to the global environmental agenda.
